Brian Seemann joined Virginia Bronze for the 2018-2019 season after a year-long search for a new Music Director. During his inaugural year, Virginia Bronze performed at the Kennedy Center’s Concert Hall, The Music Center at Strathmore, and was a featured performing group at the Handbells Muscians of America’s National Handbell Seminar in St. Louis, Missouri. While at rehearsals, Brian is often seen with his baton in one hand and his iced coffee in the other.
In addition to directing Virginia Bronze, Brian is also the handbell director at National United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C. and Our Savior’s Way Lutheran Church in Ashburn. Because that wasn’t enough, he also assists with the handbell program at The Potomac School in McLean and is the Ensemble Winds Director for the Rock Ridge High School Marching Band in Ashburn, VA.
In his time away from handbells, Brian is heavily involved in other aspects of performing arts. He spent four summers marching with the Jersey Surf and Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps.
